The Side Chick: Are Women settling for Less?

Online there has been alot of side chick quotes and memes swirling around. Is this "side chick" epidemic really real? Maybe in other countries it is ok to have multiple wives or partners, but in the states it is not! What has happened to the concept of marriage and the importance of just being with one person? Are we women settling for less?

Men all over the world have been helping build this crazy new trend, including Peter Gunz of VH1's Love and Hip Hop New York, and his two women Amina Buttafly and Tara Wallace, who have been battling on the popular reality show for Mr. Gunz's number one spot. Recently shamed for bearing children by Peter, both women are looking very foolish! And to think, this is what it all comes down to...More babies mothers! Infidelity seems to be at an all time high and loyalty at an all time low, and it is affecting families! Tv shows and even social media has been exploiting this side chick movement with quotes and memes like the one posted below which was designed obviously by someone who supports side chicks.

Whether a joke or not, contracts made like this gives women and men the excuse to try and have partners behind each others back. These shows today are indirectly encouraging women everywhere to accept less in a relationship and to accept cheating! This is not ok for our young women and children to see, what they see is what they will emulate! Is this what we want for our daughters? Women who are ok with infidelity, no commitment and no steady fathers for their children?

We must change this movement and demand respect! We must teach our women the opposite of what is being taught these days about love and marriage. Getting used and embarrased should not be on any woman's list! Its time to make a change and stop this new trend. But it will only start when our loyal men and women start setting positive examples, and teaching our youth to Never allow themselves to come second! Let's Get Started people!
