Thug Blessings?

For years I wondered why men do the things they do, like... Why do they think women will wait on them forever? Why do they think its ok to take years to change? Why do they think they are excused for doing certain things because they are men? I try my best to be an observant person and take notes and ultimately I have come up with a few of my own conclusions.

#1. Ya'll don’t listen! And it starts with your mama, if did not listen to your mom or maybe didn't have one around, you just may have a problem listening to your future wife or girlfriend who may be trying to help you in life, but you just don’t see it- because you are not used to it. And its ok everyone grows up different, but it’s time to realize certain patterns in your life and start to change them. Not every woman is trying to be your teacher, or mother, or judge!

#2. Ya'll are Stronger Physically, not Emotionally! Emotions don’t exist to men right? So how do ya'll expect anyone to relate to anything you guys go through? Ya'll want everyone to listen but not to respond with emotion, why because ya’ll can’t handle it! How do you expect to talk to your woman or mother or grandmother, and take in any advice when you can’t even relate to sadness or disappointments, when it’s all a part of life? Not crying can tear a person down inside... being strong every day of your life eventually leads to a breakdown! Nervous, mental or physical! Be stronger emotionally and you will win in life and that does not mean crying more, it means embracing every emotion whenever it hits you and dealing with it, while taking notes for yourself for future reference.

#3. You Do Not know Everything! Women can cook, clean, raise kids, move furniture and fix things right? Because we are all human! Testosterone must be a very powerful hormone to have because even lesbian stud women who take testosterone seem to think they rule in relationships. So, I conclude it must be that! Don't let your pride, and ego run your relationships! Not one person in this world is better than another, people may be in different places in their lives for different reasons, maybe even stupid reasons- but that does not mean that you yourself haven't made a few stupid decisions, Let’s keep it real! I have done a lot of things many women have done and gone through but, I am still different! I do not know everything! And I listen when people tell me different scenarios, but I take what I want and need out the conversation because not one person in the world knows everything! Please do not believe you are that person who knows everything you will be highly disappointed and constantly proven wrong.

#4. Women will not wait! No matter how much you think you have a woman gone off sex, love, money or power you are wrong! No matter if she has 8 kids by you, if disrespect, disagreements, and drama continues she will eventually find a way to leave! You are not God or Cupid! In no way can someone keep treating someone else bad and they continue to tolerate it! Even someone with low self-esteem may let someone continuously tear them down- or even someone with high self-esteem may let someone tear them down, but one day they will see the light! And in most times, god may be their light! Or a friend, a relative or even a stranger can be put into someone life to make them realize their worth. And once they recognize their worth there will be nothing you can do to tear them down again, trust! Life is too short and unless you take a person’s life which is the weakest thing you can do; you will see that life waits for no one, and happiness is always the goal. Do not think a woman will wait forever, even Stella got her groove back!

*By raising two sons, I try to put into account to what some men may have went through growing up and what my boys are going through growing up, and then I take notes and compare. I see the hate you guys go through, the jealously from friends, and I know the hate for the black man is real, but it is still no excuse to be miserable, to let yourself go or to make excuses for everything in your lives! Every day I tell my sons to wake up with a smile on their face no matter how hard it is to go on because people love negativity and will feed off it, and at the end of the day it only drains you! You will get nowhere in life stuck on pride and egotistical traits you have been told that makes you men! It’s time to change up, embrace your emotions and feelings and take life seriously! You only get one!
