We love the confidence of Sha'Carri Richardson but it did not help her on Saturday at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Competing against three Jamaican Tokyo medalists, Richardson came in last place with a disappointing time of 11.14 seconds- The famous Elaine Thompson- Herah and her Jamaican team-mates easily taking first, second and third place.
"I'm not upset with myself at all," Richardson said. "This is one race. I'm not done. You know what I'm capable of. Count me out if you want to. Talk all the s--t you want because I'm here to stay. I'm not done. I'm the sixth-fastest woman in this game, ever, and can't nobody ever take that away from me. Congratulations to the winners. Congratulations to the people that won, but they're not done seeing me yet -- period."

Since becoming a trending track star in 2019 Sha'Carri has held her own and kept it real with fans even after failing a drug test, causing her to be disqualified from the 2021 Tokyo Games. But with celebrities, and fans by her side pushing for her to run, she was now able to compete again.
Even with this loss, we hope this will not be the last of Sha'Carri Richardson. Her explosive talent and sexy swag is something we love for the culture- Let's not forget she ran an impressive 10.75 seconds in the 100m at the National Athletic Association Championships, breaking the record! Keep pushing Sha'Carri, we love the confidence and talent!
